Shadow Man - Cartridge Authentication & Manual
RANKING: B
I never rented this one when it came out, only saw the ads in the magazines. This one is surprisingly good, wasn't expecting much.
This is a 3rd-person shooter, that takes place in one giant world (Darkside), though you occasionally jump to Liveside to fight bosses. You have to find all 120 Dark Souls to beat the game and unlock all the doors. No leeway here like Super Mario 64 did, where you only need 70 Stars out of the 120. Level design isn't too good, it's mostly caverns that lead to temples/forts, so you can get lost easily and having the layout with a lot of winding tunnel doesn't help. It's a long game because of this.
The story is Legion (pretentious name) is trying to start the apocalypse, he need the Dark Souls to do it, but you have to get them before he does and then kill him.
I'd recommend this game, I was excepting this to be a generic 3rd-person shooter, but as a lot of other reviewers said, it is good.
