But who IS Shadow the hedgehog?

We begin our playthrough of Shadow the Hedgehog in tonight's stream, and it ends up being a pretty fun time (minus the technical difficulties). Shadow doesn't seem to remember exactly who he is, what his purpose is, or how he's even still alive for that matter, so he sets out to uncover his past. Right on cue however, a celestial body called the Black Comet passes by the planet, a bunch of scary aliens invade, and they start mucking things up. In his search for the truth, the aliens try to gaslight Shadow into joining their side by being like "bro, trust me, you totally hate humans or whatever", Eggman promises to divulge his secrets in exchange for help, and the government wants Shadow dead for some reason. It's a goofy game lol

I haven't played this game since I was in like middle school, and I remember really enjoying it back then, so let's see if I still like it as much. This is going to be a 100% playthrough, much like the Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes streams
