Shadowrun: Dragonfall Director's Cut was originally released as downloadable content for Shadowrun Returns in 2014 and later that year released as an expanded version and standalone game.
Shadowrun: Dragonfall Director's Cutis a video game featuring turn-based combat, great storytelling and many unique characters. It is based on the Shadowrun universe. The genre is best described as cyberpunk fantasy. Players control a squad of shadowrunners in a dystopian futuristic setting with strong science-fiction and high-fantasy elements in the late (but not too distant) 21st century. Magic is back, and technology has developed further as well. The interface between man and machine has been invented and people can send their minds to the matrix, the future internet. Transnational mega-corporations dominate the world.
Survival in this unforgiving ever changing new world is the main goal of the ordinary shadowrunner. If they make money or become famous runners - even better.
Shadowrun: Dragonfall Director's Cut is the second game in a series of three (so far). In this Let's Look we will see some gameplay of the game's first phase on hard difficulty. I will explain the world of Shadowrun and give an introduction to the game's mechanics.
I can clearly recommend this game to anyone who likes a deep environment and convincing atmosphere in a game, good writing, an excellent story and turn-based tactical combat.
