Shards of War is not your typical MOBA. Controlling your unit/hero is a combination of W,A,S,D for movement and your mouse to execute attacks. Hotkeys are present to unleash your skills based on what class you select prior to the match.

Staying true to MOBA, the goal is to destroy the enemy's main building guarded by 2 tiers of towers per lane. In Shards of War, you do not gain level singularly but as a team. After each match, you will be generously rewarded materials you can use for crafting gears.
