Playing Jeff Minter's Sheep in space for the first time in years as I've been saving it for a time when things are rough and I need the healing power of Llamasoft. This was one of those times :/
I played this A LOT back in the day, now sure how much I remember or how much muscle memory I've retained since then but it's fun to return to it regardless.

One thing I've since learnt is the title music is an arrangement (by James Lisney) of Bach's "Sheep may safely graze" (Schafe können sicher weiden in the original German), so that's a rather nice touch I was completely unaware of as a kid. I just thought it was more of the usual 'rearrange a piece of classical music as there's no copyright on that we can get done for' that you got a lot of back then.

Still, I DID learn *one* thing at the time from playing this, and that was the meaning of the word 'replete'. Never let it be said Llamasoft titles aren't edumacashionul.

Some people have said I should set up a tip jar, to help with cost of repairs and the like. As I can't really offer anything other than thanks I don't feel Patreon is particularly suitable, so I've set up this - https://ko-fi.com/gigerpunk
Absolutely no obligation, I'm not doing any content just for people who pay and not doing adverts of any kind, it's just there for those who'd like to help out occasionally (in this case, to get an Atari 400 up and running properly so I can cover Atari 8bit games)
