🥹 Being a ‘gamer girl’ in a bitter and toxic community made me want to ride my car into a river sometimes. ☠️
Oftentimes I find myself crying and wondering what’s wrong with myself, praying hard that I’d be able to be better at the game and prove myself. 🥹🥹 Those were dark years. Despite facing constant criticism and negativity throughout my years of playing Dota, including hate and bullying, I’ve learned to cultivate a stoic mindset. There were days when I shed tears in solitude, but I’ve come to realize that you can’t please everyone, and now, it doesn’t affect me as much.
