At the time back around 2009ish initially shi no numa was fun thanks to the interesting location and new enemy types. But it is only the third call of duty zombies map and the beginning of the "modern" zombies misdirection that continues to this day. It is the first map that you can run around in a circle or "train" zombies in a 4 person group for as long as you want which is also being the best strategy. This makes shi no numa the first broken map where everything besides the player starts to have less significance even irrelevance from the zombie A.I. to the map design.
