5Shines Over The Damned, I Like it But WTF Am I Supposed To Do Here?
This is the overall feeling I had while playing through the 1st 5 chapters.
There is a lot of trial & error, but you can figure things out pretty quickly for the most part.
But that 5th map, The Gorge...I had no idea what to do & there was no indication.
At 1 point I was playing for a good 5 minutes straight & I died.
I also didn't know until I was editing the video that this was the LAST LEVEL of the game lol.
But overall, I did enjoy the walking simulator, this is what the game is & the description tells you as much.
The graphics were very nice & the atmosphere was excellent.
Action is sparce but always a jump scare followed by L1 + R1 button mashing, nothing major.
You do have to get used to the controls of how you jump & listen to the audio queues to know when you landed on the invisible platform.
If I had known that this was the last level, I would have kept going, since I was so close to the end.
All this now considered post production, I would recommend this game if you like atmospheric horror walking simulators.
You can beat this game in less than an hour most likely once you played it once.
Reviews are not so kind & I could understand since the game is so hands off & judging by the trophy completion rates, nobody that left a review beat the 5th level, the level I stopped at.
A pity because the game has something. It really does.
I hope @firenutgames keeps working & making games.
I will give this a 6/10 not a FAIL at all.
