Shining Force 3: Scenario 1 - Battle 11 [Insane Difficulty]
7### HIDDEN CHARACTER - NOON ###
To recruit this hidden character, let Kahn perform his Orb attack on the Kyon-shi standing on the north side of the broken bridge. It will take time because you can only reach him at the end of the battle..
You do not have to save all those Kyon-shi/villagers to trigger him!
If you want, you can kill all the others for Experience.
If done correctly, Noon will be waiting for you after you finish this and the next battle (with the Vandal), just south of the broken bridge.

### BATTLE 11 - Objective and Notes ###
The 1st battle of Chapter 3.
During your visit to Quonos Village, you can find a Brave Apple.
It can raise 1 level for any character. It begins with 0 EXP on the next level.
On my case, I used it on Dantares. He had very low EXP, was falling behind in levels and it was more important to level a frontline attacker, who I needed the most for the next battles.
Your goal is to save all the villagers, who have been cursed by the Vandal, which you will battle in the next fight.
To save them, you have to let Kahn, an Elbesem Monk, 'attack' with his Orb.
By doing that, he's saving them from the curse.
I´ve tagged all the Kyon-shi in this video, during their 1st turn, so you know who is who.
As for the battle itself, there's not much you can do here, and it really shows on the next battle, with your force being very weak.
+ Hit the Kyon-shi with 2nd ranked weapons. The damage will be minimal at best.
+ Kahn will always follow Synbios, so take that in mind.
+ His AI can be sumb at times.
+ If you put some characters behind Synbios, even if there's space around him, Kahn won´t move near your leader :(
+ Other times, even if there is space/range for Kahn to attack, he won´t, leaving you open for one more attack from the enemies :(
+ Be careful with the bats and Skeletons. Only uour sttrongest characters can take the hits.
+ Use LE (Land Effect) as best as possible. You want the best defense possible.
+ The enemies will target Julian and Synbios the most. Use that to your advantage.
And that's the end of it.
If you don't want to, you can kill some Kyon-shi.
Frankly, I would recommend you do it.
The Experience and level ups you lose in this battle, by saving them all, is crucial!
And believe me... in insane, without grinding, the next battle will prove to be the hardest of them all!

### MAIN OBJECTIVE ###
My final goal is to create gameplay videos about the battles only, on insane difficulty, with no return spell/grinding.
According to some users on Shining Force Central, this is how difficulty ramps up:
Normal: -
Hard: +50% ATT, +25% DEF
Difficult: +25% ATT
Insane: +50% ATT, +50% DEF
These gains only apply to base stats and are always ajusted based on previous difficulty.
The results will be used alongside the article I´m writing for ZWAME, FNintendo and probably other websites.
