If you know how to handle him, Aomizuchi goes from one of the toughest bosses in the game to one of the easiest. His reaction to any of your offense is to dash, dodge your shots, and counter viciously (which you can see him doing as I go after a nearby target), but you can use this to your advantage and manipulate his movement. When you build up your Tate chain to full strength, get about a sword strike's distance away (maybe add another half a strike's distance to that), lock on, jump a little towards him, then QUICKLY dash and strike. What usually happens is that he counter-dashes a little bit forward, putting him a little bit past you. This leaves him wide open for a quick strike in the back. It all happens very fast, but when you get the hang of it, he dies immediately, depending on your character and difficulty settings.
Played on authentic PS2 hardware. No save states, pausing, turbos, tool assists or any other cheats used.
