Pokemon Sword and Shield had an event that allowed you to encounter Gigantamax Pikachu in the Wild Area. GMAX Pikachu could only be obtained from Let's Go Pikachu Save Data, but it was made available to all through this event. These special Pikachu could know Surf naturally and they could also know Volt Tackle. You could also get a Pikachu with its hidden ability Lightning Rod. They could also be Shiny which made this is the chance to get a Shiny GMAX Pikachu given that the one from Let's Go Pikachu is shiny locked. I was able to catch two Shiny G-MAX Pikachu so in this video I showcase Shiny Pikachu and I also go over the event.
