Short-Bits - (Episode 13): "Finally accepting the invitation to party. π"
"School." While it may not be a place for everyone... it DOES present you with a challenge: 'Persuing friendships, keeping your grades at a reasonable level... and even participating in the various school events.' But all of those didn't seem to be the goals our former protagonist (Hiroya Tachibana) had in mind once his father threw him out of the house. He really didn't want to draw any attention to himself... but with the vicious rivalry between his school & the private school across his town, a friend that can't keep herself out of trouble, and the rumors of a mysterious transfer student slowly creeping it's way into his life... it became near-impossible for him to achieve this without getting distracted, while his OWN life starts to crumble apart.
To become a champion to his school is his goal, but in order to do this... he'll need to delve into the lives of his fellow classmates & forge new friendships... unless he wants to continue sleeping under the bridge that divides his own hometown. [Literally.] But doing this really wouldn't be easy without YOU (the player) helping him out whenever the chance calls for it.
This visual novel is a real treat for those who consider playing it during their free-time. Aside from the main character being a well-developed mess, the other characters you meet are just brewing with life in more ways than what you can account for. The team behind this visual novel really knew how to shift the tone in ways I never would've expected any other VN to pull off before, and the comedic moments it has really know how to hit you where it's practically needed... especially with this game's most bubbly character yet-- "Ayumi Miyazaki". [Seriously... I even put one of the moments with her in the video. She's quite the well-developed character, isn't she? XP]
The links are down below, if you're interested in playing it. Risk or reward... this visual novel really DOES know how to implement the story elements before they eventually (and unexpectedly) bring up more core elements that keep the story feeling more like a fresh & well-rounded adventure~!

And also... the blue mario you see in the thumbnail is named "diamondmario64" (or "DM64" for short). He's a YouTuber who makes quality SM64 Bloopers & makes content that I truly believe is worthy of everyone's attention. If you've been watching SMG4 for as long as I have, you know that the series has evolved from what it once was. [And depending on how you feel about it... his parody bloopers have changed quite a lot over the years, too.] If you're a fan that REALLY wants to see the "2015" style of SM64 Bloopers make a come back once more, then please put his YouTube Channel on your radar. His sense of humor is equally matched compared to SMG4's older bloopers, so if you're in the mood to watch some random shenanigans unfold with Mario, DM64 & the crew... then you'll DEFINITELY know where to look!
