Don't fall for the title of the video for a second, guys. If you like good ol' Sonic Fan-Games... then you'll come to love this one as much as I have. What do I mean, by that? Well... despite not having an official story of sorts, it still hits me as one of the most well-executed Sonic Fan-Games we've ever gotten last year. Mighty & Ray are in this game (mostly because the developer said this was supposed to follow AFTER the events of Mania PLUS), a brand-new set of zones will emerge with a handful of references, some helpful tools you can select from the options menu (which changes gameplay a bit), and SO much more. [And I didn't even spoil any of the other stuff in this video~]

If you know OR have played "Sonic Mania", then you're aware of the fact that it's mastered the element of surprise all too well-- especially when it came down to the boss fights. This game does the exact same thing, except the core element of it's gameplay lies within' the worlds you explore. And despite the very first level serving as a tutorial for what has YET to come, there's still so much in this that you can talk about. The first 'real' stage alone has a luscious background filled with gorgeous islands that blend-in perfectly with the game's aesthetics, and the boss of this place fits EXTREMELY well for a fan-made follow-up to good ol' Sonic Mania PLUS.

Please consider giving this game a shot. I know it's kinda outdated (because this channel only covers outdated fan-games), but I promise you all of the game I've shown off on this channel so far (including THIS one) still have plenty of things for you to do & loads of areas to explore.
