One major difference between FTL and STTE is how LONG the runs are in this game! Each sector is about the length of an entire run in FTL! Hopefully we'll get a win tomorrow or at least make it pretty deep into the later sectors, although I'm still a noob in how to upgrade and progress a ship through a Shortest Trip to Earth Run. The extreme micro and intense ship management side of STTE gets a little tedious, so I doubt I'll play this nearly as much as other games, but we'll at least complete this run and see how it goes!
