2Even to this day, I still think Kobra's design was a little lazy. Why? Because he's roughly Ken Masters in a Mortal Kombat game. I mean, LOOK at him!
Anyway, after a little over a month, Ultimate Mortal Kombat Deception is back from it's break! And on good timing too, since Mortal Kombat Deception has reached it's 20th birthday so for the rest of October, I'll be playing Mortal Kombat Deception to celebrate the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite Mortal Kombat games! This time, I'm playing as Ken Masters' American Cousin: Kobra.
About Kobra: Despite his lazy design, he's a good character. His Shorin Ryu, as I mentioned before in the Johnny Cage video, is overpowered since it can pack a lot of damage. On the other hand, his Kickboxing style is not as effective since that style doesn't provide him with enough damage to make him feel broken, compared to Johnny Cage (In UMKD). However, his Kali Sticks are a good set of weapons for him, despite sharing the same weapon as Sonya Blade. Overall, Kobra's good despite some flaws...but at least his debut showing's a lot better than in Armageddon, because holy shit, that Machete he got was not really a good alternative for him.
