Someone asked me to take a look at this article during my live stream on 25 February 2022. It was a little dated, but I was surprised to see that Blizzard is being a little mush-mouth about what they want out of the deal. It seems like they aren’t against the activity, but they are against the activity being done by organizations and not guilds. It also seemed more like Blizzard was policing the way this was advertised, where it was advertised, and the disruption of legitimate systems. It seems like an example of a company wanting to say something but not knowing what to say.
