Unskippable intro cutscenes can be extremely frustrating for speedrunners to deal with. Having to wait several minutes to be able to attempt to do another speedrun can truly be demotivating. Some games like Super Mario Sunshine are dealt with interesting scenarios which they do have an option to create a save point to skip the cutscenes at the start of the run, but in doing so you will skip gameplay. In this video I'll be covering all games that have made solutions to dealing with intro cutscenes, as well as coming up with solutions and covering potential issues that could arise from using them.
