Should you get Minecraft for your kids?

I bought Minecraft back in the day when it was $10 CAD. I had tons of fun playing it and even got to experience it in VR (which was a real trip). Recently my kids have really shown an interest in it and I've had to teach them very little. The new updates make crafting much easier and the simplicity afforded by the building blocks system makes it accessible for even young kids.

We all agree, except for mom who can't stand video games, that it's a great game for a family.
