No Man’s Sky with VR by Uncomfortable Game Shorts (UGS)

An exploration, building, survival, hauling, inventory management game with some combat opportunities as well. Game is set in a mindbogglingly MASSIVE open universe which is revealed to you slowly as you upgrade and improve your space faring equipment. Flora and Fauna are supposed to be unique to planets and solar systems but they often overlap and sometimes create bizarre creations which break the immersion as you stop and laugh at their implausibility or bizarre look.
The story is built around you figuring out what the heck is happening. People seem to know you, they seem to want to help you, you find some things familiar, and yet, it is all new at the same time.
The VR implementation is decent but there are too many problems which make it not ideal for this game. I’ve mentioned some in the video but didn’t get to mention that controlling the ship in VR takes some getting used to (imagine the HOTAS floating in air in front of you and you need to “grab” and use them without any physical feedback).
If you’re willing to take it slow and like farming, exploring, and building...then you’ll probably love it! If the game continues to improve, it would be hard to deny the value it offers.
Pros
-Building, exploring, and collecting with hundreds of hours of gameplay and pleasing visuals.
Cons
-Grinding, time sinks, poor story, crazy amounts of inventory management, and confusing dialogue options.
