To change the time format on your iPhone from the 24-hour clock to the 12-hour clock (AM PM format), follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap on "General."
- Tap on "Date & Time."
- Toggle on "24-Hour Time."
Once you turn off the 24-Hour Time setting, your iPhone will display the time in the 12-hour format throughout the operating system, including the lock screen, Home screen, and in any apps that display the time. This is my iPhone SE 2020 running iOS 16.4.1.
