I've been playing World of Warcraft since early 2006, so it's been a part of my life for quite a while. I've decided to make an on-and-off Let's Play of the game, doing one zone at a time to experience the lore and the many stories of this huge MMORPG!
Redridge Mountains used to be much larger a couple of hundred years ago, as it included both what is now the Burning Steppes and the Searing Gorge. But now only the southernmost part of those mountains are still know as Redridge. At the shores of Lake Everstill we have the town of Lakeshire, which is one of the many human settlements in the southern Eastern Kingdoms, as it is quite close to Stormwind. But despite being close to the captial, Redridge is not a safe place to live. Gnolls inhabit the countryside in large numbers and they regularly raid the humans whom live here. But even worse, the old fortress Stonewatch on the eastern shores of the lake has become home to an increasing amount of Blackrock orcs from the north. They are building up their numbers to attack the humans and word is they are allied with Black Dragons! Only one person could possibly stop them!
