Shrouded Space takes you on a beautiful journey from prisoner to some higher ranks in no time while passing through a lot of brightly lit and good looking scenes. those colorschemes could also be from a dystopian cyberpunk game but this is more a space opera and that is fine. There are a lot of cool fire and smoke effects coming from all the explosions your cause and that adds a lot to the game.
Sometimes there is music and it is okay, the sfx as well, but it is very cool to have a fully voiced game as a jam game! That takes a lot of effort and coordination.
I still wonder if the backgrounds are AI generated or generated and overpainted, though I'm pretty sure they are...
Sadly the puzzles don't hold up, there are no combinations or surprising uses of items as there are only a few. There is a jigsaw puzzle but it has incredible 9 tiles while the middle is always on screen, not that puzzly at all, it is all about the epic story and the hero's journey and it kept me playing as you can see :)

Shrouded Space is a cosy undercover space, point & click, adventure game where you are the hero/villain of this epic journey across the galaxy.

CONTROLS

Left click to walk, interact or use item
Right click to examine/look or skip dialog
Move cursor to top left of screen to access your inventory.
Left click inventory to select item, then again when over the object you want to use it on
Hover cursor over inventory item to examine

Shrouded Space was created in Unity (and PowerQuest by Powerhoof) over two weeks for $107 Adventure Game Challenge.
