Side Scroller Shooter Roguelite With Metroidvania Elements | Rusty Rangers Demo Gameplay
2Hello everyone! Here we are with another demo that was part of the Steam Next Fest. This is Rusty Rangers, a retro side scroller shooter roguelite that gives you the feeling that you are playing a metroidvania. Now, I don't really know how deep are the metroidvania elements in this game (are they enough to be considered a roguevania?), but I did feel like playing one most of the time.
Combat is pretty slow-paced, but balanced, my main issue being the lack of a key to stand still (considering you shoot with movement and counting with the presence of flying enemies, I would like a way to deal with them by shooting diagonal up without moving).
