5Rosella has made it safely through the deep, dark troll cave and out in to the swampland beyond, but now it is a matter of whether she can safely retrieve the magical fruit she needs. Marvel at the repeated usage of the "jump" command, and watch dumbstruck as Matt finds nearly every possible way to die at the final island on this side of the cave, as rosella deals with a dangerous cobra, and the even more dangerous issue of her inability to stop walking before dying.

King's Quest IV: Perils of Rosella is the fourth entry into the King's Quest series and the first among them to move from the Sierra AGI engine to the new SCI engine, with square pixels and the introduction of the beautiful midi sequences of the Roland MT-32. It tells the story of King Graham's daughter, Rosella, on a quest to save Graham after he collapses when welcoming Alexander (Gwydion) and Rosella home after the adventures of King's Quest III. She is transported to the magical realm of Tamir, where in true King's Quest fashion, she must interact with fairytale creatures in order to help a fairy godmother analogue, in order to secure the one cure for her father's malady.
