Space Quest 6: Roger Wilco in The Spinal Frontier is the sixth and final game in the Sierra On-Line "Space Quest" adventure game dynasty, returning to the hands of Scott Murphy, though largely designed by Josh Mandel (Narrative Designer on the Jones in the Fast Lane and Freddy Pharkas games, as well as the voice of King Graham), and out of the hands of Mark Crowe, the other "Guy from Andromeda" that headlined SQV. It was released in 1995 to tepid-to-positive reviews, and was considered visually cutting edge, thanks to its "hand-drawn" high resolution art style.
Unfortunately, due to some internal issues in Sierra On-Line, the final product suffered a lack of complete implementation of some key puzzles and writing, and regardless of ending on a cliffhanger, was not to return for a sequel.
The NPCs are playing the GOG version of Space Quest 6 using ScummVM and The "Fatboy" soundfont through Coolsoft VirtualMIDISynth.
