Free Agency:

Locks: (Players Eagles NEED to go after)

- Sign Byron Maxwell -- Revis is going to be 30 and command a lot of money, where as Maxwell is the typical signing for the Eagles. Has the size Chip wants and can "be left on an island" like Billy Davis wants all his corners to do and do better than Fletcher. If Philly wants to continue to try and play a Seahawks style defense, might as well grab their #2 corner.

- Sign Clint Boling -- Guard is the major area of concern, and would rather get a really solid guard in FA than using a draft pick on one. Herremans is a question mark heading into next season, Boling has been super solid for the Bengals, will be affordable, and offer much more than Gardner.

Draft-Dependent Signings: (Players who are totally based on how Philly plans to approach the draft, will make sense after seeing my mock)

- QB Jake Locker -- Was a huge fan of Locker coming out of Washington, offers a dual threat that Chip hasn't had in his system since Vick, would offer excellent competition for the backup spot with upside to challenge Foles if he struggles. His inability to stay healthy is a big concern, but having Locker as #2 on the depth chart with upside as well as still potential to grow would be a positive situation to have on the depth chart.

- CB Chris Culliver/Perrish Cox -- Highly doubt San Francisco brings back both, and if Philly doesn't think they can hit on a corner at #20 in the draft, they may need to get two new starters through free agency. We're not the only DB starved team, but cant see any scenario where Howie and Chip aren't super aggressive in getting new secondary players. They get Maxwell, and then the odd man out in SF.

- Strong Safety -- Now here is my dilemma. I think Jenkins is a legit FS in our system but is clearly a coverage specialist. Devin McCourty is perhaps a dream signing this off-season as he's still well in his prime (unlike Revis) but A) I cant see Patriots letting him go, especially if they let Revis walk) B) Like most ideal safety targets, primarily a coverage specialist. Realistic, Eagles-like signings like Rahim Moore, Ron Parker, or Da’Norris Searcy, with Searcy being my guy of the bunch are too primarily coverage guys, and I believe we need our hitter/tackler compliment rather another coverage guy. Then again with how poor our secondary has been during Chips tenure, the more cover guys the better. If we go SS in free agency, McCourty for the dream unrealistic signing, Searcy for the upgrade more realistic signing.
