PS5 offers two viewing modes with some significant differences.
The performance mode applies lighting clipping (highlights, shadows and global illumination) and some post-processing effects such as volumetric fog.
These clipping are easily noticeable in interiors located in large areas with a large amount of indirect light.
In any case, the performance mode has trouble maintaining 60fps in stressful moments even below 1080p.
The launch patch is applied.
This is one of the first times we can consider quality mode as the most attractive option for Silent Hill 2.
The comparison with the PC version will be available this Sunday.

El modo performance aplica recortes en iluminación (reflejos, sombras e iluminación global) y algunos efectos de postprocesado como la niebla volumétrica.

En cualquier caso, el modo performance tiene problemas para mantener los 60fps en momentos de estrés incluso por debajo de los 1080p.
