Otherworld Bluecreek Apartment. The remake does a good job showing when James crosses over to the otherworld and when he crosses back over to the foggy world. The otherworld was beginning to invade the foggy world as soon as James enters the room where Pyramid Head appears with inanimate mannequins. As soon as James opens the nonexistant door from Woodside Apartment to enter through the nonexistant door to Bluecreek Apartment he becomes fully immersed into the otherworld. Just as James solved his way through Woodside in one plane of reality, he must solve his way through Bluecreek in a different plane of reality. I heard a good analogy about this before. The foggy world is like being half asleep where you can hallucinate but are not entirely dreaming, whereas the otherworld is like full REM sleep where you are completely out of it and are immersed in a dream.
