Pros:
✅ it’s free

✅ it has the Silent Hill name

✅ it has some Silent Hill-esque monsters and creepiness (kind of) in the story


Cons:
❌ pretty much everything else

❌ story is simplistic (could get better but no guarantee)

❌ graphics are just ok


Verdict: ok for the price (it’s free) 🫠 Silent Hill Ascension isn’t the worst “game” I’ve ever played, but as it’s primarily a choose your own adventure non-playable narrative, the game’s experience lives or dies by the quality of its story and acting. So far it’s interesting enough I plan to periodically check in on the story, but it’s not exactly “compelling.” But hey, for the price (I know, I know, I’ve beaten that to death…but it’s true!) it’s at least worth trying.
