Silent Hill Downpour: Cutting Room Floor Trophy/Achievement - HTG
118(HTG) Brian walks you through Chastian Heights in Silent Hill Downpour and shows you how to complete the Cinema Verite side quest which will earn you the trophy/achievement "Cutting Room Floor". Cinema Verite side quests begins in the Movie theater off of Lamon St. , but as the video will show you I recommend that you head to the hardware store around the corner first to obtain the replacement bulb that you will need later to complete the Cinema Verite side quest. **NOTE** The locations of some items will change do to the puzzle difficulty you have chosen, these videos are shot using the Normal Difficulty mode which also includes Hard Difficulty, if playing on Easy Difficulty the bulb should be in the movie theater at the top Left storage room. ** After grabbing the replacement bulb in the hardware store East of St Maria's Monastery, head back to the movie theater to start collecting the rest of the needed items. Right as you walk in you will want to grab the Movie reel on the first right counter top. After you grab the movie reel head down the right side of the lobby and go to the left side restroom to find the second movie reel inside one of the stalls. After grabbing movie reel number two, head through the broken hole in the wall to find yourself in the actual movie theater. Once to the bottom row, turn and head up the right side stair case to make it to the projector room. The final movie reel is passed the projector on a box in the storage room. Now that you have all 3 movie reels, and the projector bulb, go replace the bulb and play the first movie reel The House on the Lake. Walk down to the movie screen to activate the first movie reel. Walk down the right sidewalk and enter the house. Go passed the staircase and enter the room at the end of the hall. Once inside you will see the first of 3 number locations to open up the locked door next to the projector which is 9. Return back to the sidewalk you came from to return back to the movie theater. Return to the projector room and switch reels to The Silent Children and return to the screen to activate it. Move to the bottom left corner of the room by the ladder to find the next set of numbers 24. Return to where you came from and head to the projector again to swap to the final movie reel The Secret of the Attic. Make your way to the movie screen, and make your way to the only window in the room where you will find the last number for the code 1, 9241 is the code you need. Return to the door and punch in the code and grab your movie reel from the projector and combine all 3 reels in the newly opened rooms splicer. Once combined, place Spliced Reel in the projector and head to the screen one last time, return to the same house on the right, and enter the doorway on the left to obtain the wooden crank. After you have the wooden crank go back to the room with the 9 in it at the end of the hallway under the stairs and you will find yourself in the room with the 24 and the ladder in the corner. Head to the middle of the room and find the desk with the box. Use the wooden handle to complete the jack in the box and turn the handle to gain the key. After you have the key head to the ladder in the corner of the room and you will notice you are back to the room with only 1 window where the final number for the code was. Head to the number on the wall and move to its left to the box and use the key from the Jack in the box. Open it up and grab the bullets and golden gun. Return to the movie theater the way you came and claim your Cutting Room Floor trophy/achievement for completing side quest Cinema Verite.
