Silent Hill F on Linux? Can a Mini PC Handle It? (Radeon 890M + FSR 4 Test)
Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel!
In today’s video, I’m playing Silent Hill F on CachyOS. I'm using the Minisforum Ai X1 Pro, which features a Radeon RX 890M and a Ryzen 9 HX370. My goal was to achieve 60fps while maintaining high fidelity. I opted for a resolution of 900p with lossless scaling at 2x, along with FSR 4 quality. FSR 4 is definitely better than FSR 3, so even at a lower resolution like 900p, the quality looks quite good.
For the graphical settings, I used Digital Foundry's optimised settings, which start at very high with a couple of adjustments. With these settings, I can generally achieve around 60fps most of the time. However, during heavy scenes, such as when running away from the red stuff, I experience some fps drops. Other than that, I’m happy with the results!
