An interesting product produces by a former employer. This was a battery powered, custom Z80 computer that recorded log scale information. At the end of the day the units were connected to a base station/battery charger combo unit where data could be printed or downloaded to another computer. I learned a lot about charging NiCd batteries by working on this product. I also was given a few rejects. I pulled some of the chips, which I still have but I wish I'd have kept a few of the circuit boards.
