Do you want to know how to create scrolling backgrounds in ‘your’ Scratch projects? I’m Griffpatch, and I can’t wait to share with you how I would go about creating this cool effect. We'll also cover how to loop background sprites using the maths mod operator, and lastly introduce parallax scrolling and vertical scrolling.

This is a relatively basic tutorial, but is useful to understand as we use this, or similar techniques a lot in other projects. We will shortly be using this one in the titled scrolling tutorial series.
