Simpson Characters From The 1st To Current Episode
1,180A lot of things have changed since the first episode of The Simpsons aired 1989. We’ve seen 6 U.S. Presidents, declassified Pluto as a planet, and have lived through 5 live-action Batman actors and 3 Spider-Man reboots. Gas was about $1.22 and Tiktok was still 26 years away. What I’m saying is, things have changed and given that the Simpsons is entering it’s 34th season, we thought it would be fun to go back to the very first episode to see how different some of your favorite characters started off as compared to where they are right now.
Obviously the main focus is on the Simpsons family, with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie all being the focal point of the first episode. But you’ll be surprised to see just how different Mr. Homer J. Simpson actually is. For example, the first episode sees him yelling and snapping at Marge! The Homer we know now would never be this grouchy and short-tempered! The rest of the family is pretty much the same, with Marge still being sensible and Bart still being the wild child, but their personalities still need to be fleshed out. I mean, Lisa doesn’t mention she’s a vegetarian one time!
But what about characters other than the Simpsons? How do fan-favorites like Moe, Mr. Burns and Ned Flanders start the series compared to what the characters are like over 30 years later?
