Now here's an interesting thing. Instead of using Audacity and Decimator, since that plugin no longer works on my PC, I decided to try a different plugin called Time Machine and used it in VEGAS Pro 14, adding similar settings. I then rendered that as a wav file, then imported it to Kdenlive, and did the rest of the instructions. Turns out, I've got the "lines to the left-hand side syndrome" as @Kyoobur9000 does. But that doesn't matter.
