SistaStrings make their national TV debut on SNL!
Milwaukee's SistaStrings is set to make their national television debut on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, joining Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile's band for a performance on the iconic sketch comedy show. The musical duo, made up of sisters Chauntee Ross on violin and Monique Ross on cello, have been making waves in Milwaukee's music scene with their soulful, romantic sound and lush tones on their instruments.
Born and raised on the city's north side, Chauntee and Monique first learned to play music in their family's sister group, Sisters of Praize, before forming SistaStrings and collaborating with a wide range of artists in Milwaukee and beyond. They will be joining an elite group of Wisconsin natives to perform live from 30 Rock on "SNL," with comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short co-hosting the December 10th episode.
"Saturday Night Live" airs on NBC at 10:30 p.m., and fans in Milwaukee can catch the show on WTMJ-TV, Channel 4. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to see SistaStrings shine on the national stage!
