Unsere Absolventin Anita Andriskowski (Digital Film Design) hat im Rahmen des Moduls „Grundlagen der Computergrafik“ diese eindrucksvolle Animation erstellt. Unsere Studies sollten das kinetische LEGO® Sisyphus Modell des Designers Jason Alleman (JK Brickworks)* aus dem Online-LEGO-Editor Mecabricks importieren. Auf diese Weise lernten sie das Modell in Gruppen zu strukturieren und ein technisches Rig aus Gelenken (Joints) und Parent Constrains zu entwickeln. Für die Übersetzung von Zahnrädern wurden Expressions (einfache Formeln) verwendet. Zudem erlernten die Studierenden, wie sie Modelle mit Maya inszenieren und mit Redshift rendern können.

Our graduate Anita Andriskowski (Digital Film Design) created this impressive animation as part of the module "Fundamentals of Computer Graphics". Our students had to import the kinetic LEGO® Sisyphus model by designer Jason Alleman (JK Brickworks)* from the online LEGO editor Mecabricks. In this way, they learned to structure the model into groups and developed a technical rig of joints and parent constrains. Expressions (simple formulas) were used to translate gears. In addition, the students learned how to stage models with Maya and render them with Redshift.
