Arc makes the rather reasonable suggestion of waiting until she can recover her strength before going after Vlov, but Shiki takes offense with that since it's only going to lead to the loss of more innocent life. And so, against the wisdom of the literal superhuman who has done these things before, Shiki thinks the best possible idea is to go try to fight the dude alone. Good plan? Nope, but probably the catalyst for another post-mortem with Ciel.
