Today I'm back with a new WTH is Tom Playing episode featuring SkateBIRD. I mention it in the video, but I've had my eyes on SkateBIRD for a long time on Twitter. It always looked so cute and carefree and I could not wait to play it.

I'm not too great at SkateBIRD, but that was absolutely expected. It's a casual game you can just hop in and play around in for a bit. There's a story that loosely ties the game together and gives you a purpose, but I always enjoyed the open-ended "playground" modes the most for these types of games.

WTH is Tom Playing is a series where I (Tom) feature a new indie game that I think you’ll enjoy. Sometimes these games will be recent releases and other times they will be games which have been out for years. That’s part of the fun, you never know what you’ll see next in the series.
