Skull Quest 2, The Vortex

This is an old DOS game, created by NecroBones - Ed T. Toton III

This was a fun little exploration project, where I played a game that I couldn't find any walkthrough of whatsoever, no playthrough, no hints, nothing. It was a fascinating "archeological retro digsite" to me, that I decided to explore. After figuring out the basic mechanics, I started a little map-project (that was a lot larger than I anticipated), and attempted to figure out how to beat the game. After I was only missing one more item, and have traversed the entire map back and forth for hours, I decided to try and see, whether I could gleam anything from the other game files. Turns out, the map-file was reasonably easy to understand, so I plotted it out and compared it to my self-made map. I made numerous errors in my mapping, but for the most part I found everything - except for one little room.
