Skullgirls: The Big Boy Called Big Band
4I have been late for this, but I finally got to try out Big Band (Sax Deka in Japan). Big Band is the second DLC character for this game (as well as the second of the three musical-themed fighters, next to Squigly and preceding Eliza) as well who's as big as his name implies. He is more like an in-your-face juggernaut type of character, as he deals very massive damage compared to other fighters. He is also a balanced number of charged moves as well as QCF and SRK moves. One flaw I could obviously see on him is that his size also proves to be a big target for everyone. To compensate for this, he was given the parry mechanic not unlike in Street Fighter III. Another possible weakness is his short-ranged normals, but with the parry system and huge damage of his it's kind of balanced out.
One amusing thing that Big Band has is his sexy voice. He has the lengthiest prefight voice-over in this game.
Maybe this guy will be included in my team once he gets released. As of now, he's available in Endless Beta only with incomplete animation.
