Have you ever wanted a game that's similar to After Burner but not in the franchise itself? Well what you need is Sky Target, it's semi spiritual successor.

Released in the arcades in 1995, and on the Saturn in 1997, Sky Target is a rail shooter from Sega that has you piloting your choice (out of four) of a jet. It's very similar to After Burner. It's known as it's spiritual successor in the gaming community. Except now it's a polygon based game, and it's more realistic. Surprisingly, this game (both arcade and Saturn versions) was never released in Europe.

This game is slightly rare. That doesn't mean it's expensive though. For a great game like this, the demand is somewhat low, either because they don't want it, or they have never heard of it. It's quite sad that it, along with the Saturn and it's many other games, didn't do so well.

So should you actually get this game? Well if you like After Burner then definitely. This game is also good for people who like arcade games, rail shooters, planes, Sega, and obscure games.
