Sky Team | Shelfside Review w/Turbulence Expansion
228We review a game where you try to land a plane without crashing! Sky Team is a cooperative game with dice rolling to perform enough actions to ready the plane for landing. Trick is, the pilots don’t know each other’s dice, and can’t communicate after the dice are rolled! It’s a simulation/emulation of being at the controls with variable setup to change out the maps. In fact, it’s a spin on worker placement when zoomed out! Is this Spiel Des Jahres winner for 2024 worth the look, now that it’s shooting so high on boardgamegeek? Is the Turbulence expansion, which adds alarms and penguins, worth getting, given the sheer amount of content in base game?
