PARADISE Prototype Review — Mad Max Beer & Pretzels!
We review a prototype of a skirmish game set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland! In Paradise: A Wastepunk Boardgame, you play as a faction battling on a battlefield, trying to secure objectives and KO your opponent’s team. There is a lot of ameritrash dice rolling, with line of sight to measure attack/movement. Some sneaky surprises can come in through your card draft though! Whether it be playing around terrain or just rolling gobs of dice, Paradise frequently tells a nice Mad Max-like story. Will you stay the king of the hill in the water tower sometimes? Or just eliminate was many enemies as possible through machine guns ire and re-rolls? Will Mindwork games deliver on something that may be better than Heroscape?
