Wondrous Creatures Review — Innovative Worker Placement, Finally!
Journey around this whimsical island to gather the most wondrous creatures! In this fantasy Euro, you play as a captain of an expedition to assemble cards to your tableau! What’s more, is that there is a spin on worker placement to gather resources or cards with each placement. Then you can decide when you want to recall your meeple! For 1-4 players, this low-conflict Euro falls into a very similar category of other popular BGG games we’ve reviewed like Everdell and Earth. But this Bad Comet studios game is a couple steps more complicated than Wingspan! Who will have the best set collected in their reserve, affected by their variable player powers?
