Skylanders Trap Team Any% Glitchless speedrun in 3:36:35!
321This was my first run of the game. Time starts when I select "Story" on the file select screen after choosing the difficulty, and ends when the Kaos Skystone is offscreen (before the Story Stars screen appears).
I would like to point out that this run is as close to glitchless as I can get (this is a very glitchy game). bangerra's Any% WR was a 2:50:36, but it used a lot of glitches that don't work on my Wii U. I am requesting that a separate category be made for glitchless runs, otherwise this game is totally unrunnable on Wii U.
The only glitch I can do that would save any time would be the double-jump glitch (which barely gains any distance) and a glitch in Time Town where, after the pipe puzzles, I tag in a trapped Villain and can walk on the platform before the animation finishes (saving less than ten seconds over the course of the whole run).
I went in the wrong direction sometimes. It's been a while since I played some of these levels. I estimate about three minutes can be saved with better movement.
I am also thinking of doing a 100% run, where I collect all 88 Portal Master Stars and complete all Rumble Arena Challenges and all of the Kaos Doom Challenges. (Full figure collection completion would be waaay too expensive.) I'd do one soon but I don't have a Mirror of Mystery on hand.
