Conquest of Skyrim is an ambitious mod that allows the player to create their own faction independent of the Stormcloaks and the Empire. The player can choose a government, raise an army, conquer territory and manage their economy with the end goal being to become the High King of Skyrim. DON'T START THIS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CIVIL WAR
FIRST STEPS :-
Upon loading, you will find a book in your inventory. IF THIS BOOK IS NOT IN YOUR INVENTORY THERE IS A SPARE BOOK IN A CHEST NEAR THE SOUTHERN ENTRANCE OF RIVERWOOD. When you read it, you will be able to start your faction. The first steps are to decide on a name for your faction and its troops. You will then be able to choose the banner that will represent your faction as you conquer your territory!
Speaking of conquering territory, after you make your faction your first steps will to be to capture some for your faction. You will need to find one of the "uncivilized" areas of the game to conquer. These can be places like bandit camps, giant camps, or necromancer areas. You need to conquer at least one before you can recruit your government which is the next step. In your abilities tab, you will notice you have a new ability: "Place Banner". Once you cleared out an area of enemies you need to activate this ability. It will place a banner directly in front of you and facing you. The area will now be claimed as part of your faction and enemies will no longer spawn there. (I have future plans of having bandits try to take it back but for now they're gone forever!)
