Note: This video is glitchy at the start (there is a lagging issue and the shadows weren't rendering properly, but by around 3 minutes in these problems disappear and the video runs smoothly.

I first uploaded this as an 'unlisted video' on the 23rd August 2013. But at the time I didn't think it was worthy of public view due to the lagging issues... but from watching it again now (in October 2014) I see that there might be some subscribers that will appreciate this prolonged exploration of the nether regions of Tamreil ; )

In any case, it shows the extent of the desolate lands, rivers and oceans that exist beyond the map we can access in the retail game. It's like another huge map that can be explored (in low res) beyond what we can explore in the retail version.

Apart from a low res white tower (first discovered by a Finnish player 'Jesse' in November 2011) there is nothing to see but vast brown landscapes and the occasional rivers or oceans. Still, for me it was almost as exciting as going beyond the map in Shadow of the Colossus for the first time... almost, but not quite xD.
