Previously, Davilas did the Thieves Guild reputation quest in Whiterun, "Imitation Amnesty", and most of the reputation quest in Markarth, "Silver Lining". Now, he will complete "Silver Lining" and then finish out the Thieves Guild quest line.

Davilas resumes outside the bandit hideout, Pinewatch, having cleared it and recovered Endon's Silver Mold.

He fast-travels to Markarth. There, he finds Endon and turns in the silver mold. Endon rewards him with a piece of equipment. This concludes the quest "Silver Lining". Endon will now act as a fence for Davilas's stolen goods.

Since Davilas has finished the four Thieves Guild reputation quests as well as "Darkness Returns", he now receives the quest "Under New Management". He must speak with Brynjolf in the Thieves Guild hideout about becoming the Guild Master.

Davilas fast-travels to the Thieves Guild location in Riften. Down in the Ragged Flagon Cistern, he talks to Brynjolf in a side room. Then, he goes to the middle of the Cistern, where, a brief scene takes place. Davilas becomes the Guild Master of the Thieves Guild.

After the ceremony, Davilas talks with Brynjolf again. Brynjolf gives him an amulet and the Tribute Chest Key. Davilas must talk to Tonilia to get the Guild Leader Armor.

Davilas will need his Thieves Guild gear before Tonilia will help him out. Davilas also talks to Delvin to let him know that the two reputation quests have been completed.

Davilas fast-travels to his home in Whiterun and picks up the Thieves Guild gear. Then, he fast-travels back to the Thieves Guild location.

In the Ragged Flagon, Tonilia has one last task for the new Guild Master. She wants him to take some illegal Moon Sugar to convince Ri'saad, a member of a roaming Khajiit caravan, to help the Thieves Guild move goods around. This starts the objective "Deliver Moon Sugar to Ri'saad". Ri'saad and his caravan can be found roaming around Skyrim.

Outside the hideout, Davilas fast-travels to Kolskeggr Mine, since Ri'saad is in that part of Skyrim. Then, he finds Ri'saad with his caravan outside of Markarth. Ri'saad is happy to accept the Thieves Guild's offer. Even more, his caravan will now act as a fence for Davilas's stolen goods. Good stuff. Afterwards, Davilas must "Return to Tonilia".

Davilas fast-travels back to the Thieves Guild location. In the Ragged Flagon, he reports to Tonilia. First, he turns in one of his pieces of Thieves Guild gear for a new one. This finally concludes the objective "Speak to Tonilia about exchanging a piece of armor".

Then, Davilas talks to Tonilia again. When he reports about Ri'saad, Tonilia rewards him with some money. This concludes "Return to Tonilia". Afterwards, Davilas asks about what Brynjolf said she had for him. Tonilia hands over the Guild Master's Hood, Armor, Gloves, and Boots. This concludes "Under New Management". For finishing the Thieves Guild quest line, the player earns the trophy "One with the Shadows".

Davilas fast-travels back to his home in Whiterun to manage his and Lydia's inventory a little bit. Next time, Davilas will finally continue the main story with the quest "Alduin's Wall". He must meet Delphine and Esbern near the Karthspire, which is between Whiterun and Markarth.
