This is video #002 in my playthrough of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on the PlayStation 4. I am playing the game vanilla. This game has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB. This video does not contain commentary.

Previously, Davilas began the game and started the story quest Unbound. He and the Imperial soldier Hadvar began escaping through Helgen Keep. They made their way to the Torturer's chambers.

In this video, Davilas and Hadvar continue their escape in the story quest "Unbound". There are more Stormcloaks to kill as they continue, followed by Frostbite Spiders. There is a Bear near the exit. She is easy to kill with sneak arrow attacks. You might want to loot her Bear Pelt for a later quest.

Finally, they make their way outside. After the dragon flies off, the quest "Unbound" is complete. For completing the quest "Unbound", the player earns the trophy "Unbound".

The next story quest, "Before the Storm", begins right away. Davilas must go to Riverwood and talk with Hadvar's uncle, Alvor.

Along the way, Hadvar recommends Davilas join the Imperial Legion. This begins the miscellaneous objective "Join the Imperial Legion". Davilas will have to find General Tullius in the northern city of Solitude.

Also, Hadvar will comment on Bleak Falls Barrow, an ancient ruin on the mountain to the north. We'll be going there soon enough.

Hadvar brings Davilas to the Guardian Stones, three of the thirteen Standing Stones around Skyrim. Davilas activates the Warrior Stone. For selecting a Standing Stone blessing, the player earns the trophy "Blessed".

Finally, Davilas and Hadvar arrive in Riverwood and meet Hadvar's Uncle Alvor. In Alvor and Sigrid's house, Hadvar tells his astonished relatives about what has happened. Alvor will offer Davilas some free gifts. He will tell Davilas to make his way to Whiterun and talk to Jarl Balgruuf, the ruler of Whiterun Hold. Alvor and Hadvar both have plenty of conversation topics.

Next time, Davilas will explore Riverwood.
